Run by Students, For Students
The Biomedicine Students’ Society is one of the largest faculty based clubs on campus; existing to support you both socially and academically. We are a University of Melbourne students’ society; run by students, for students.
With the events calendar for 2015 filling up, our regular social events provide an excellent platform for students to have a relaxing and enjoyable time outside the academic arena. From the elegant Annual Biomedicine Ball to our creatively themed Boat Cruises & Cocktail Nights, every event guarantees a night of unforgettable fun, leaving everyone with great memories and lifelong friendships.
As a faculty associated club, we also facilitate a meaningful relationship between staff members and students with our Second Hand Book Sale and Peer Advice Sessions. We are committed to ensuring that you have all the necessary resources for your studies as well as a fantastic social life outside of class.
Course based questions can be directed to the Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) Student Centre, who provide a range of services and support for students enrolled in Health Sciences programs within the Faculty as well as pathways advice for undergraduate students enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences (this includes Bachelor of Biomedicine students).
Membership is available to purchase at any of our events throughout the year at less than ten dollars. All finances are implemented directly back into the society to fund more social events, such as the free member BBQs, and to provide other great services for our members.
The BSS is proudly supported by and affiliated with Fraser’s GAMSAT tuition, who assist and support our members with quality educational events.
